The Ocoee Knights will face off against the Edgewater Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ocoee is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
If Ocoee beats Edgewater with 14 runs on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Knights blew past Lake Buena Vista 14-3 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Dwight Oneal was a standout: he scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Ocoee's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 6-1 (and 3-9 when he doesn't). Shimar Woodard was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Ocoee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Edgewater sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over Colonial on Wednesday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Grenadiers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Robert Viera III spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Coron Victor was excellent, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Yusef Charles, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases.
Ocoee's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Edgewater, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Ocoee has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Edgewater struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Ocoee suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Edgewater when the teams last played back in March. Will the Knights have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
