Johnson has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last 11 times he's played. Jayden Ross was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Catholic came up short against the Sabres on Wednesday and fell 63-52.
Rocky River is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. As for Charlotte Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season.
Rocky River couldn't quite finish off the Cougars when the teams last played back in December of 2023 and fell 62-60. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Charlotte Catholic's Eddie David, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
