Questa is 2-8 against Escalante since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Questa Wildcats will be playing at home against the Escalante Lobos at 7:00 p.m. Questa has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Questa put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past McCurdy, posting a 54-23 win at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Questa has posted against McCurdy since February 8, 2022.
Questa got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alianna Gonzales out in front who scored 19 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gonzales has scored all season. Alyse Lovato was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, Escalante had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Academy for Technology and The Classics with points to spare last Tuesday, taking the game 47-29. The victory was just what Escalante needed coming off of a 54-30 loss in their prior contest.
Questa's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Escalante, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.
Questa strolled past Escalante in their previous meeting on January 6th by a score of 53-38. Does Questa have another victory up their sleeve, or will Escalante turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
