The Spring Woods Tigers will be playing at home against the Northbrook Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Spring Woods is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
Spring Woods fell victim to Stratford's stalwart defense last Saturday and couldn't make it onto the board. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 9-0 walloping at the hands of the Spartans. While losing is never fun, Spring Woods can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 612th, while Stratford is ranked 43rd).
Meanwhile, Northbrook can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 10-1 margin over Jersey Village. Ashelyh Ruiz was a massive factor in the win, as she booted in three goals all by herself.
Spring Woods dropped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only scored two goals over those five games. As for Northbrook, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-4-2.
