Cape Henlopen found their leader in underclassman Amalia Fruchtman, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Fruchtman has scored at least a third of Cape Henlopen's points. Another player making a difference was Mya Maull, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Sussex Tech's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10. As for Cape Henlopen, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-5 record this season.
