University has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  take on the Resurrection Christian Cougars at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 University's hitters rose to the challenge against a Tigers pitching crew that boasted an average of only 4.1 points allowed on Wednesday. University's pitcher stepped up to hand Sterling  a   10-0 shutout.
 The team  relied heavily on  Kaleb Tejada, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dalton Yaste, who  went 2-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Resurrection Christian made easy work of Strasburg  on Wednesday and carried off  a  10-0 win. The  victory was just what Resurrection Christian needed coming off of  a  13-4 loss in their prior  matchup.
  Christian Siemer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Siemer was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Charley Wilson, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.  Colton Barber was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 University's record now sits at 7-1. As for Resurrection Christian, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. University has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 2.8  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Resurrection Christian struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 3.3. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 University took their  victory against Resurrection Christian  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  7-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for University since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
