In what's become a running theme this season, the Eastern Alamance Eagles gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They blew past Graham, posting a 65-30 victory at home. Winning may never get old, but Eastern Alamance sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eastern Alamance to victory, but perhaps none more so than Makayla Thompson, who scored ten points. Makayla Scott was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Eastern Alamance is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for Graham, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.
Eastern Alamance won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Person at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Graham on the road again on Friday and play against Bartlett Yancey at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Bartlett Yancey is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
