Maroa-Forsyth is  a perfect 8-0 against St. Teresa since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Trojans will host the Bulldogs  at 4:30  p.m. The timing is sure in Maroa-Forsyth's favor as the  squad sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while St. Teresa has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
On Thursday, Maroa-Forsyth needed a bit of extra time to put away Athens. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past the Warriors  9-8. The  win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.

 Danni Hovey spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered seven earned  (and one unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up 11 Ks. Those 11  strikeouts set a new season-high mark for  her.
 On the hitting side,  Taylor Crouch was  incredible,  going 3-for-6 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Adelyn Simmons, who  went 2-for-4 with two  doubles and one  RBI.
 Crouch wasn't the only one making solid contact: Maroa-Forsyth  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 16  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least ten  hits in four consecutive  contests.
Meanwhile, St. Teresa came up short against  Fisher on Saturday, falling  10-4.
St. Teresa also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in:  Jalie Eller gave up four earned  (and six unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks.
 At the plate,  Avery Harrison made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 3-for-4 with one  triple and one  run.  Mya Howley was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Maroa-Forsyth's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for St. Teresa, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
 Everything went Maroa-Forsyth's way against St. Teresa in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024, as Maroa-Forsyth made off with  an  11-0 win. Will the Trojans repeat their success,  or do  the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
