The Hillcrest Knights will face off against the Idaho Falls Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Hillcrest sitting on three straight victories and Idaho Falls on four.

Hillcrest won the last time they faced Blackfoot and Ali Maddux did her part to make sure it happened again. The Knights blew past the Broncos 3-0 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Maddux, who had 18 digs and five assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last ten times she's played.
Hillcrest walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-23, 25-22.
Meanwhile, Idaho Falls faced Shelley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Tigers came out on top against the Russets by a score of 3-1.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 18-25, 25-21, 25-20.
Hillcrest better keep an eye on Addison Bowen. She was instrumental in Idaho Falls' win, getting 27 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Bowen has posted over her last eight matches.
Idaho Falls was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive matchups.
Idaho Falls' victory bumped their record up to 24-9. As for Hillcrest, their win bumped their record up to 21-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's contest: Hillcrest has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.9 aces per game. However, it's not like Idaho Falls struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.3 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Hillcrest skirted past Idaho Falls 3-2 in their previous meeting back in September. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
