Crystal Lake Central has not had much luck with Crystal Lake South recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Crystal Lake Central's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jj Parrish, who scored six points. Another player making a difference was Rhett Ozment, who scored eight points.
Crystal Lake Central has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Crystal Lake South, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-2.
Crystal Lake Central's road trip will continue as they head out to face Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. As for Crystal Lake South, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dundee-Crown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
