Senior Collin Breckenridge was the offensive standout of the match for King City/Union Star, as he rushed for 103 yards and 3 touchdowns. Breckenridge has now scored at least one touchdown in the past eight games.
Meanwhile, St. Joseph Christian took their contest against Braymer/Breckenridge by a conclusive 30-8 score. St. Joseph Christian were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped King City/Union Star to 5-3 and St. Joseph Christian to 2-5. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
