It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mahomet-Seymour had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They never let the Rantoul Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Mahomet-Seymour moved to 21-12 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Rantoul, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 17-13 record.

Looking ahead, Mahomet-Seymour will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Glenwood at 4:30 p.m. The Titans will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. Rantoul does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
