It's playoff time, and Wicksburg had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Northside Methodist Academy Knights 28-0 on Monday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 26 games by six runs or more this season.

Ella Grace Kelley was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Anleigh Wood, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, one triple, and one run.

Wicksburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .833. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Wicksburg pushed their record up to 40-7 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Northside Methodist Academy, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.
