In what's become a running theme this season, Springfield gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They blew past McDonald 49-23. The win made it back-to-back wins for Springfield.
Springfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jameka Brungard, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Brungard has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Vecchione, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Salem has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Springfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
