The Benjamin Franklin Electrons are on the road again on Sunday and play against the Conrad Science Red Wolves at 10:30 a.m. on December 17th. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Benjamin Franklin, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 67-48 loss to Carver High School of Engineering & Science. Benjamin Franklin has struggled against Carver High School of Engineering & Science recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was David Winchester, who scored 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Kneco Hill, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Conrad Science faced Mount Pleasant in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Conrad Science fell to Mount Pleasant 57-51. Conrad Science has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Benjamin Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Conrad Science, they have fallen quite a ways from their 13-5 record last season and are now at 1-3.
