The Easton Area Rovers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 43-31 win over Bethlehem Catholic. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Easton Area also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Easton Area's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ryan Cornish, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jeremy Henry, who scored 11 points.
Easton Area's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Bethlehem Catholic, they bumped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Easton Area will take on Parkland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parkland presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Easton Area in Pennsylvania (Parkland is ranked 18th, while Easton Area is ranked 400th). Bethlehem Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Ridley at 1:00 p.m. on January 13th.
