Galt took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Turlock Christian on Thursday. Galt's defeat continues a unfortunate trend for the team, making it five in a row.
Galt's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carson Cagle , who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Zavion Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Galt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Turlock Christian, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.
Galt's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sacramento Adventist at 11:00 a.m. on December 29th. Sacramento Adventist is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. Turlock Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Stone Ridge Christian at 5:00 p.m. on December 29th.
