Softball Recap: Triton Has No Trouble Against Williamstown

Triton won the last time they faced Williamstown and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs blew past the Braves 13-5. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Triton and bumps their season record up to 8-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Williamstown, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Triton will face off against Shawnee at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs are facing the Renegades at the right time seeing as the Renegades are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Williamstown, they will take on Clearview at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pioneers' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Braves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
