Latta have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Hannah-Pamplico at 7:30 PM. Latta have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Hannah-Pamplico are surely hoping to exploit.
After a string of three wins, Latta's good fortune finally ran out last Friday. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 12-40 punch to the gut against Andrews. A silver lining for Latta was the play of senior Dylan Brewer, who passed for 135 yards and 2 touchdowns. That makes it four straight good games in a row from Brewer.
Meanwhile, Hannah-Pamplico were close but not close enough as they fell 30-32 to Mullins. It was a tough break for Hannah-Pamplico, who improved upon an already decent score from two weeks ago but lost both times.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
