This was a revenge match for Summit Christian Academy, as the team was forced to settle for a 59-51 defeat when these two played last Friday.
It was another big night for Payton Hammond, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last 12 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Wheeler, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Summit Christian Academy pushed their record up to 9-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Varsity Opponent, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 338-1207-2 record this season.
