The El Primero Lobos will be playing at home against the DCP Alum Rock Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully El Primero focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Thursday.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for El Primero, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 49-30 loss to the Wolfpack.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from JOSH CHAVEZ, who scored eight points along with ten steals and seven rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 16 games he's played. GUSTAVO MALVAES was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, DCP Alum Rock strolled past the Dragons with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 63-44. The win made it back-to-back wins for DCP Alum Rock.
El Primero's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for DCP Alum Rock, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-10.
El Primero came up short against the Lobos in their previous matchup back in January, falling 54-48. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of DCP Alum Rock's Tony Clarida, who almost dropped a double-double on 28 points and nine rebounds. Now that El Primero knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
