They took their  game at home  with ease, bagging  a  48-7 victory over Taylor. That looming  48-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Gophers yet this  season.

 Clinton Prairie now  has a winning record of 4-3. As for Carroll, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the  win, which was their 11th straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Clinton Prairie was dealt a bruising  43-7 defeat at the hands of Carroll in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023. That  contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Clinton Prairie was down  30-0.
