In other batting news, Moravia got a massive performance out of Davida Jackson, who scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Hayley Murphy was another key player, scoring four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Looking ahead, Moravia will be playing at home against Tioga at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Newark Valley, they will face off against Union Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
