After starting their season with two straight games on the road, Waite is finally coming home. They will look to take advantage of their home-field as they take on the Clyde Fliers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Waite's defeat came about despite a quality game from Daveyon Holman, who picked up 124 receiving yards and a touchdown. Holman got the majority of those yards when he pulled down a pass and and took off for a gain of80 yards.
Waite wouldn't let Southview keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Waite can thank Terron Belle and Jayden Tarver for forcing both of them. Tarver's also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making ten total tackles.
Meanwhile, everything went Clyde's way against Start on Friday as Clyde made off with a 49-25 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-12.
Waite's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Clyde, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
