With a playoff game on the line, the Hillcrest Christian Cougars rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They breezed by the Saints on the road to the tune of 68-29. Hillcrest Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 21 points or more this season.
Hillcrest Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Darius Barnes out in front who scored 17 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barnes has scored all season. Ethan Battle was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five assists and three steals.
The victory (which was Hillcrest Christian's tenth in a row) raised their record to 21-6. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.8 points. As for Prentiss Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
