Chandler made up a huge gap compared to their last game against McLoud, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lions put the hurt on the Redskins with a sharp 11-1 victory on Friday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by eight runs or more this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Chandler, bringing their record up to 13-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for McLoud, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-12.

Looking ahead, Chandler will host Community Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Royals will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for McLoud, they will take on Prague in a tournament on Saturday.
