Eli Michanicou posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances.
