Cushing Academy will challenge Pingree on the road at 6:00 PM on Saturday. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, Cushing Academy now face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds.
Cushing Academy have to be aching after a bruising 6-40 loss to Dexter last Friday. The result was totally at odds with the teams' state rankings as Cushing Academy enjoys a hefty 118 spot advantage.
Meanwhile, Pingree were fully in charge, breezing past Hyde 59-20. The Pingree offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the match anyway.
Pingree's win lifted them to 3-0 while Cushing Academy's defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Pingree can add another positive mark to their record or if Cushing Academy can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Pingree's step.
