LaMoille is 0-3 against Newark since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The LaMoille Lions will play host again and welcome the Newark Norsemen, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Hopefully LaMoille focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Saturday.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 64-29, which was the final score in LaMoille's tilt against Dakota. LaMoille was down 53-23 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Tyler Billhorn put forth a good effort for the losing side as he dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Newark sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-47 win over Illinois Math & Science Academy on Monday.
LaMoille has not been sharp recently as the team has lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season. As for Newark, their win bumped their record up to 10-17.
LaMoille took a serious blow against Newark in their previous matchup back in January, falling 58-30. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point LaMoille was down 35-12.
