Lincoln came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Hermitage Hornets 59-41. While the Cardinals didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Hermitage, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2.

Lincoln and Concordia will round out the year against one another at at 9:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Hermitage, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Walnut Grove at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
