The Lake Brantley Patriots scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They secured a 66-62 W over Lake Mary. The win was nothing new for Lake Brantley as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Landen Paquette was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Princeton Gordon, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Lake Brantley pushed their record up to 13-5 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.1 points per game. As for Lake Mary, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.
Lake Brantley will head out on the road to face off against Mount Dora Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount Dora Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 240th, while Lake Brantley is ranked 86th). As for Lake Mary, they will be playing at home against Bishop Moore at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Bishop Moore is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
