New York School for the Deaf has not had much luck with Lexington School for the Deaf recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lexington School for the Deaf to victory, but perhaps none more so than Timothy Lucas, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Lucas grabbed two or more steals. Shawn Gilies was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
New York School for the Deaf has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Lexington School for the Deaf, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
