Basketball Recap: Tolar's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Tolar entered their tilt with Millsap on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Millsap Bulldogs by a score of 48-35. Given the Rattlers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 1131st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Millsap lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kaleigh Wooldridge, who posted nine points and six steals. Wooldridge has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cori Ground, who had eight points.

Tolar pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Millsap, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Tolar wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-39 win against Eastland on the 20th. As for Millsap, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 30-17 loss against Peaster on the 20th.
