After a string of four wins, Central's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Metro Tech by a score of 2-1. Central was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Metro Tech apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Central's goal came courtesy of
Juan Hernandez, who's now up to four this season.
Central bumped their record down to 6-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Metro Tech, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-1-1 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will take on South Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Metro Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Canyon is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
