Bryant put their dominant defense on display in the team's sixth consecutive shutout  on Tuesday. They breezed past the Baker Hornets to the tune of  53-0. Considering the Hurricanes have won seven contests by more than 34  points this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
Bryant didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Addie Lewis and  Mari-Margret Grayson. Lewis got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
 Special teams  played a big role in the game for Bryant, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of  Madi-Mari Grayson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Bryant's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Baker,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 0-2.
 Bryant didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  32-14  win against Jackson County on the 11th. Baker does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
