Monte Alto won the last time they faced IDEA Pharr and things went their way on Friday too. The Monte Alto Blue Devil claimed a resounding 65-31 victory over IDEA Pharr. The Blue Devil have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 23 points or more this season.

Ricky Serrano was his usual excellent self, going 6 of 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 32 points and three steals. Drago Hernandez was another key player, putting up six points along with six boards and three steals.

The win made it two in a row for Monte Alto and bumps their season record up to 14-12. As for IDEA Pharr, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
