On Friday Seekonk take on Fairhaven at 7:00 PM. Seekonk are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Seekonk had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a hard 22-42 fall against Bishop Stang.
Meanwhile, Fairhaven took care of business in their home opener. They got past Greater New Bedford RVT with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 19-13.
Fairhaven's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Seekonk's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Fairhaven can add another positive mark to their record or if Seekonk can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Fairhaven's step.
