After flying high against Varsity Opponent on Tuesday, the Fredericksburg V Victory came back down to earth. Fredericksburg V had to suffer through a rough 74-25 loss at the hands of Seton. While losing is never fun, Fredericksburg V can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Seton is ranked 16th).
Sam King was Fredericksburg V's leading scorer, having posted 11 points.
Zebedee Bowers held things down on the boards with five rebounds.
Fredericksburg V's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Seton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fredericksburg V's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fredericksburg Christian at 5:45 p.m. on December 5th. Hopefully Fredericksburg Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. As for Seton, they will head out on the road to face off against Osbourn at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
