Oak Forest Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Washburn on Saturday. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 73-39 stomp they got against the Washburn Pirates. The Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.
Matthew Harville and Dillon Mullins certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Harville went 6 for 15 on his way to 15 points, while Mullins posted 15 points.
The victory made it two in a row for Oak Forest Academy and bumps their season record up to 14-2. As for Washburn, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Oak Forest Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Oak Hall at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Washburn, they will take on Orange Beach in a tournament on Monday.
