Basketball Recap: Hannan's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Hannan had to endure a ten-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 43-24 victory over the Van Bulldogs on Monday. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Van still got an impressive performance from Brailynn McCarty, who posted 11 points. Shanna Cabell was another key player, putting up six points.

Hannan's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Van, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hannan will take on Poca at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Van, they will challenge Calhoun at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
