Bishop McLaughlin Catholic's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-13. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.0 points per game. As for Universal Academy, their victory ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop McLaughlin Catholic will take on the Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Berkeley Prep will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Universal Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge the Lancers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
