Sneads has gone 9-1 against Malone recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Pirates will host the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Sneads is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, Sneads was able to grind out a solid victory over Wewahitchka, taking the game 7-2. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won eight in a row.

The team relied heavily on Creed Whitworth, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-4. He has become a key player for Sneads: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-11 otherwise.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Malone). They blew past Bethlehem 24-1 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Malone got a massive performance out of Jasper Cook, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. Those three hits gave Cook a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ben Proctor, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4.
Malone always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .833. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Sneads' win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Malone, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Sneads has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Malone struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Sneads' way against Malone when the teams last played back in March, as Sneads made off with a 21-2 win. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
