The Galloway Scots lost against the Paideia Pythons back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Galloway took a 52-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Paideia.
Several Scots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dylan Homer, who scored ten points along with three steals. The contest was Homer's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Grant Patrick, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Galloway's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Paideia, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10.
Galloway will take on St. Francis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Francis presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Galloway in Georgia (St. Francis is ranked 176th, while Galloway is ranked 410th). As for Paideia, they will head out on the road to face off against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Bethel Christian Academy will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
