Veterans Memorial's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Gatson, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin McCloud, who scored 13 points.
Veterans Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 17-1. As for United South, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
Veterans Memorial will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Cornerstone Christian at 9:00 a.m. on December 9th. Hopefully Cornerstone Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday. As for United South, they will take on Southwest Legacy at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
