Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask First Baptist School). They claimed a resounding 79-36 victory over the Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers. The Hurricanes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Caroline Johnson and Ava Lanzl certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Johnson posted nine points and six steals, while Lanzl had seven points. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played.

The win was the sixth in a row for First Baptist School, bringing their record for this year to 11-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points per game. As for Christ Church Episcopal, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

First Baptist School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-38 victory against Olympic on the 27th. As for Christ Church Episcopal, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 49-33 loss against Porter-Gaud on the 21st.
