The West-Oak Warriors are on the road again on Thursday and play against the Banks County Leopards at 8:30 p.m. on December 21st. Hopefully West-Oak focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
Last Friday, West-Oak came up short against Stephens County and fell 52-42.
The losing side was boosted by Lucas Towe, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Drew Crompton, who scored ten points.
West-Oak struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Banks County entered their tilt with Lakeview Academy with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Banks County had just enough and edged Lakeview Academy out 67-64. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
West-Oak bumped their record down to 4-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Banks County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season.
