After three games on the road, Linganore is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Frederick Cadets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maryland (Linganore is ranked 18th, while Frederick is ranked 13th).
Last Thursday, Linganore was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to Oakdale. The loss was Linganore's first of the season.
Meanwhile, Frederick put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 64-23 win over Governor Thomas Johnson on the road. Frederick's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Linganore's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Frederick, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
Linganore beat Frederick 58-48 when the teams last played back in February. Will Linganore repeat their success, or does Frederick have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
