Stuyvesant has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Thursday. They will take on Irving at 5:00 p.m. Stuyvesant knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Irving likes a good challenge.
Last Thursday, Stuyvesant didn't have too much trouble with Norman Thomas at home as they won 66-48.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Irving, who are still winless after their fourth game. They had to suffer through a rough 79-51 loss at the hands of Norman Thomas.
Stuyvesant's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-2. As for Irving, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
Stuyvesant was dealt a bruising 79-45 loss at the hands of Irving in their previous meeting back in January of 2020. Can Stuyvesant avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
