Mogadore had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Springfield Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 win.
Mogadore never let Springfield on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-14, 25-22.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mogadore to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gracie Shull, who had 22 digs. Those 22 digs gave Shull a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alana Whitmore, who had 12 digs and two aces.
Despite the loss, Springfield saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Erika Grinstead had eight digs.
Mogadore's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Springfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-9.
Mogadore has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Independence on the 20th. Springfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
