Marion Local barely beat Fort Recovery the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Flyers put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Flyers this season.

One reason for the win was Marion Local's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-13, 25-9.

Marion Local pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Fort Recovery, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Marion Local will face off against Russia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Recovery, they will square off against Arcanum at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
